Economic Development

The Economic Development Department is charged with improving the economic viability of the City of Camden.

The department is responsible for implementing business recruitment and retention strategies, planning and management of infrastructure projects to promote businessdevelopment, short and long-range economic development planning, tourism promotion and residential relocation recruitment.

Functions are completed within the department and also through other partner organizations, like the Camden Redevelopment Corporation and the Downtown Camden Guild.
