Planning Commission

 
The Planning Commission is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Comprehensive Plan, the Land Development Regulations, the Zoning Map, and the Zoning Ordinance. The Planning Commission is comprised of seven members of the community and is responsible for conducting a continuous planning program for the City by meeting regularly to review / approve land development plans, revisions to the Zoning Ordinance, rezoning applications, subdivision applications, changes to the Zoning Map, etc. The City Planner is the Secretary of the Planning Commission and is responsible for providing research and support during this process.
2010 Meeting Schedule
The Planning Commission meets on the fourth (4th) Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers, second floor, City Hall.  The commission will meet on the following dates in 2010:
