Consistent service, fair prices.

The sanitation department is responsible for the commercial and residential removal of solid and recyclable materials and yard debris. Every residence inside the city limits which receives a utility bill from the city is required to have and pay for residential garbage services, unless they receive an exemption to approved by the City Manager.

Each residence is issued a 95-gallon roll cart and one 18-gallon recycling bin. We pick up the garbage and recycling once a week at the curbside, but people with physical handicaps or hardships are eligible to receive backdoor service.
