Camden Cup Polo Match

"The sport of kings" comes alive in Camden.

Camden is home to the second oldest polo field in the nation. Built in 1898, the field has been declared a National Landmark and is held in perpetual trust by the Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation.

Each year in May, the historic field comes alive as two regional polo teams vie for the Camden Cup.

The event provides entertainment for all ranges of spectators - from the avid polo fan to the casual tailgater. Proceeds from the event benefit programming at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County.
