22nd Annual Firefest
Join us for our Annual Firefest!
Each year, Firefest kicks off Fire Prevention Week! Bring the family to the FREE fun-filled day with Kershaw County's first responders. A parade of emergency vehicles begins at 9am at Rutledge Street and heads toward City Arena, this year featuring special guest Richland County Sheriff's Department Lt. Danny Brown, from "Live PD". Events at the Arena include demonstrations, competitions, and loads of fun activities for everyone. Enjoy the Live Side by Side Burn, an Explorers Competition, Car Cruise In, Kids Zone, exhibits, food, and fun. Hosted by the Camden Fire Department and sponsored by the City of Camden, the Kershaw County Fire / EMS Service, Lugoff Fire Department, Safe Kids, Kershaw Health, Camden Police Department, Kershaw Sheriff Department, LifeNet - Helicopter, and S. C. Forestry.
