4th Annual Patriots, Picnic, and Pops
In celebration of America’s Independence, Historic Camden and members of the Camden Community Concert Band will host the 4th annual Patriots, Picnic & Pops on July 1 from 5-8 pm.
The FREE, family event will be held in the Kershaw-Cornwallis House garden. There will be English Country Dancers, a firing of a 3-pound grasshopper cannon, old-fashioned kids games, and family picnics (also concessions for sale), as well as a special patriotic program honoring soldiers from the Camden district. At 7pm, the Camden Community Concert Band will let loose a rousing concert of patriotic songs and American standards.
5pm picnicking starts; 6pm patriotic program; 7-8pm CCCB concert
Event cancelled if there is rain. Please bring chairs, picnic supplies, sunscreen, and bug spray!
