Annual Friends of the KC Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Kershaw County Library will hold their annual book sale over two weekends, starting Friday, October 5 at the Old Armory Building, 1034 W. DeKalb Street. This is the organization's biggest fund raising event of the year andthe public is invited.
The book sale kicks of Thursday evening, October 5 with their "Friends Night" membership party 5-8 pm. ("Friends" membership required - $25 minimum available at the door). The schedule is as follows:
Friday - 10/6 - Noon until 8pm; Saturday, 10/7 - 10am - 5pm; Sunday 10/8 - Noon to 5pm; then Thursday, 10/12 - Noon - 8pm; Friday, 10/13 - Noon - 8 pm; Saturday, 10-14 (half price)- 10am-5pm; and Sunday, 10/15 - Noon to 5pm.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TOO!! As you can imagine, putting on a book sale is big endeavor, and the Friends need your help. Volunteers are needed beginning September 27th to help set up the sale. They also need helpers during the sale. Signing up to help is easy. Simply go to https://www.volunteersighnup.org/rhqd4.
