J. Michael McGuirt -- Abstracts
J. Michael McGuirt is a Camden native. He attended Camden High School, then went on to graduate from Furman University. He has had no formal art training, but has been artistically driven since he was a child.
McGuirt has been featured in Columbia Metropolitan Magazine, has had his work displayed at Michael's Cafe, Good Life Cafe Cafe Strudel, Tako Sushi, Tapps Art Center, Wine Down on Main, Centus Bank Trustus Theatre and the Upstairs Gallery at USC Sumter. He opened his own gallery in Camden at Heritage Antique Mall to display his works. HE took 2nd place in the 2015 Sumter Artist Guild Show in Sumter and was the 2015 People's Choice Winner during the Camden ART Fall show at the Fine Arts Center.
