Walk & Talk with Alix Pedraza
Experience nature at Hardscramble Preserve for yourself!
Enjoy walking on the land with local naturalists to guide and share with you and your family. Walk & Talk events gather at 271 Chestnut Ferry Road from 10am-10:30 and the walk starts promptly a 10:30 and ends around noon. Families of all ages welcome, light hiking required.
Walk & Talk events are free to attend, but please register ahead by emailing leoncic@clemson.edu! Spaces are limited!
May 23rd – Alix Pedraza – Alix serves as the Diversity Outreach Manager for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Originally from Colombia, South America, Pedraza facilitates SCDNR communication and education initiatives that connect Spanish-speaking and African-American communities to natural resources. Alix loves to listen for birds, and identify native trees while walkin’ in the woods!
