Camden/Kershaw County Fire Fest
Fire Fest is an annual event that takes place every year on the last Saturday in September. It consists of a parade of emergency vehicles through downtown and ends at Camden City Arena. Antique fire trucks, kids games, demonstrations, firefighter competitions and local entertainment are all highlights of this annual event. Admission is free each year, so that citizens and visitors can learn about the importance of fire prevention and fire safety. Fire Fest is the kick off for annual Fire Prevention Week.
Fire Fest 2022
Fire Fest 2022 is Saturday, September 24. The parade downtown starts at 9 am, ending at Camden City Arena, 420 Broad Street. Fire Fest takes place from 9 am - 1 pm. Admission is free.
Interested in being a sponsor or exhibitor of Fire Fest? There is a $15 charge for community partners to participate. Vendors selling will pay a $50 fee due with the Sign-Up Form and Application for Temporary Vendors License. Any Vendors who already have a Business License will be charged $25, which will be due with the Sign-Up Form and a copy of their current Business License. No spots will be reserved until all forms and fees have been received.
