PATROL OFFICER
Under general supervision, is responsible for the fair and equal enforcement of all local and state ordinances and laws. Ensures and participates in the enforcement of traffic laws and regulations to include investigating traffic accidents, ensuring safety of streets and sidewalks, directing traffic at various public events, operating various related equipment, etc. Reports to the Sergeant, Shift Supervisor.

The City of Camden Police Department is seeking a strong, community-minded leader to serve as Lieutenant – Patrol. This position oversees patrol operations, mentors officers, enforces laws, and strengthens public safety throughout the city. Candidates should possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field and have at least five years of progressive law enforcement experience, including supervisory duties. The City of Camden is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Part-Time City Prosecutor to serve as the City’s lead prosecutorial authority and primary legal liaison to the Camden Police Department. This position is responsible for overseeing the prosecution of criminal and misdemeanor offenses within the City’s jurisdiction, including the thorough review of police reports, charging documents, and supporting evidence to ensure legal sufficiency, constitutional compliance, and ethical integrity. The City Prosecutor represents the City in municipal court proceedings, exercises independent legal judgment in case management and disposition, and ensures that all prosecutorial actions are conducted fairly, efficiently, and in strict accordance with applicable state and federal law. This role requires a strong working knowledge of criminal procedure and constitutional law, exceptional communication and courtroom skills, and a demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and sound ethical decision-making, with the ability to balance the interests of justice, public safety, and the protection of individual rights. DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF UTILITIES & PUBLIC WORKS
