Annual Fill the Boot Event to Take Place 8/29 - 8/31
Camden Fire Department kicked off the annual MDA Boot Drive Monday, August 26th at Fire Station 1. Camden firefighters will be collecting donations this year at the intersection of Broad and DeKalb Streets from 8 AM to 5 PM Thursday, August 29th through Saturday August 31st. Stop and help Fill the Boot or drop off your donation at the Camden Fire Department. All donations go directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, to help individuals dealing with Muscular Dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases.
Last year, across the country, firefighters raised more than $24 million at more than 1,600 Fill the Boot events to save and improve the lives of MDA families. Donations fund groundbreaking research across diseases to accelerate treatments and cures, care for kids and adults from day one at multidisciplinary MDA Care Centers across the country, and help empower families with services and support in hometowns across America.
Remember to look out for our firefighters at Broad and DeKalb Streets and make your contribution to Fill the Boot!
