What is FORWARD 2045?

The Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments is currently developing the Santee-Lynches region’s next Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which is used to identify and prioritize transportation investments throughout the region, which includes all or parts of Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter Counties.

As the region changes, our transportation network must evolve to meet changing needs.  This plan, FORWARD 2045, will serve as a blueprint for the region’s transportation future.

How Do I Participate?

A web-based survey and mapping tool has been created for stakeholders and community members to record their opinions about transportation challenges, needs, and opportunities.

Complete the Survey:

The public is also invited to participate in the planning process via public workshops scheduled across the region throughout June 2018.  The workshop scheduled for Kershaw County is Tuesday, June 19, 2018 between 5:30-7:30pm at the County Government Center.
