BOIL WATER ADVISORY REPEALED FOR THE CUSTOMERS OF THE CITY OF CAMDEN WATER SYSTEM IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
CERTAIN PORTIONS OF HWY 1 NORTH AND ADJOINING STREETS IN THE GENERAL APPROXIMATE AREA BETWEEN LAKESHORE DR. AND DENTON ST., WEST ALONG BROWN RD. AND EAST ALONG WOODLAWN DR.

The City of Camden advises its water customers located in the above area, that they no longer need to boil their water. On September 5, 2020, results from laboratory testing indicate the water on this system is safe to drink and use for other purposes without the need for boiling.
The Advisory was generated due to a nearby water line break at Lakeshore Drive & Hwy No.1 on September 3rd. The line was repaired that evening and also flushed, and water samples collected for the above referenced laboratory testing.
