Request for Bids: Powder Magazine Park

The City of Camden, South Carolina is seeking bids for the construction of Powder Magazine Park, located on the 800 block of Market Street, connected to the 1859 Confederate Powder Magazine historical site.  The proposed park will be approximately .4 acre in size, and contains landscaped plant features, picnic shelter, tables, benches, pedestal water fountain, and brick walking path around the perimeter of the park. The project is funded in part by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism through the Park and Recreation Development Fund. 

Sealed bids, with all requested documents, literature, forms, etc. to be submitted by mail or in person to, Caleb Frase, City of Camden, SC no later than May 2nd, 2019 by 2:00 PM; Subject line, “Powder Magazine Park Bid”. They will be opened in the Public Works Office (1000 Lyttleton Street, Camden, South Carolina 29020) on May 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Contractors will use the attached bid sheets for submitting their bids.
