Rhame Arena Renovation Begins Monday, April 20th

The City of Camden is pleased to announce that construction for the renovation of Rhame Arena will begin Monday, April 20th , 2015.  During the construction, public access to the building will be prohibited beginning Monday, April 20th for safety and extend until the project is completed.  The renovations are anticipated to be completed by mid-September 2015.  

Groups and citizens who utilize the arena for walking and other purposes are encouraged to utilize the newly improved lighted walking trail at Kendall Park, located on Haile Street, as well as the City’s numerous other park facilities.  In addition, the Kershaw County Recreation Department has made accommodations for walkers to use the National Guard Armory, located at 1100 Ehrenclou Drive, from April 20th to June 1st, 2015.
