"Shop Local" Logo Design Contest for Kershaw County Going On Now
The Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce is holding a logo design contest to be used in a "Shop Local" campaign. The object of the contest is to have a logo created that can be used to encourage residents and visitors to stay in Kershaw County and shop at Kershaw County businesses.
The logo design rules require that the logo be flexible enough to be used anywhere in Kershaw County – Bethune, Boykin, Camden, Cassatt, Elgin, Liberty Hill, Lugoff or Westville.
Entries will be reviewed by a committee of Kershaw County leaders, but the final decision will be left to the community. Finalists selected by the committee will be posted online in September and the community will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite. The winning entry’s designer will receive a $500 cash prize and an award to recognize their talent.
The contest details and official rules can be found on the Chamber’s website at www.kershawcountychamber.org/information.
