SWRTA Public Transportation Services Now Provided by United Way

Santee Wateree Regional Transportation Authority (SWRTA) has Partnered with the United Way of Kershaw County to provide public transportation services for the citizens in Kershaw County through the Vehicle Access Network (VAN). As a result of this partnership, VAN will be providing transportation services through One Carolina Transit starting January 17, 2023.

Passengers previously utilizing Kershaw Connect and Demand Response services operated by SWRTA are now required to contact VAN at 803-432-0951 ext. 115 to make reservations for transportation. 

Citizens are also encouraged to contact SWRTA at 803-934- 0396 ext. 128 or 147, if there are additional questions or concerns.
