Temporary Road Closure - Springdale Road

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) announces a temporary road closure and detour in Camden. Springdale Road from Knights Hill Road to Liberty Hill Road will be closed and detoured beginning Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. until Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at 6 a.m. to complete roadway drainage work. This work is part of the ongoing construction of the first phase of the Camden Truck Route. Cherokee General Contractor will be performing the work.

Motorists will be directed to use the 2.85-mile detour which includes Liberty Hill Road to US 521/601: Broad Street to Knights Hill Road while work is ongoing.  Motorists traveling through the construction zone are asked to be aware of equipment and crews working in the areas at all times and observe all traffic control signs and devices and reduced speed limit.
