Water & Sewer

The City of Camden serves approximately 6,000 water customers an average of 2.5 million gallons of water per day. Raw water is drawn from Lake Wateree and pumped to the water treatment facility, which has a treatment capacity of 6 million gallons per day. To ensure your water meets health requirements, we use sampling and testing methodologies approved by the EPA and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. The City also operates an award-winning wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 4 million gallons a day, which was placed into operation in February 2014.
