Special Events

For those looking to hold a special event at a City of Camden park or facility, please refer to our Special Events Packet.

This packet includes our event guidelines and application for park use, as well as applications for use of our mobile restroom trailer, stage, parade permits and other documents your event may require.

We strongly recommend that event applications are received at least 60 days before the proposed date of the event. City services are provided on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be guaranteed if an event application is received within 30 days of the event.

Rental Venues

The City of Camden has several facilities available for rental. 

The historic Robert Mills Courthouse, 1826, is a beautiful venue located at 607 Broad Street. Download application here Robert Mills Courthouse Rental Application; Email robertmills@camdensc.org for additional information .

Camden City Arena, located at 420 Broad Street, is a multi-purpose facility that can be used for sporting events, conventions, or entertainment. Contact Kat Spadacenta in regards to renting this facility.  

The Price House, c1830, provides a beautiful indoor / outdoor venue.  It is located at 724 Broad Street.  Contact Jackie Green-Stuckey for rental requests at 803-677-5013.

The City has a number of parks available for family fun!  For events with more than 50 people in attendance, please contact Kat Spadacenta in regards to reserving a City Park.
